Part 3: The Tocharian

Chapter 28: The maeroa

New Zealand

New Zealand consists of two main islands, North Island and South Island, and numerous smaller islands It lies about 2,000 km east of Australia Today the population is predominantly of European origin but the Maori were the first inhabitants This is the eighth century that would be the first Maori arrived in successive waves, until about 1300 They are of Polynesian origin, but the oral tradition of Maori describes the arrival of ancestors from Hawaiki as it is to say, Hawaii, by the great ocean, in waka canoes name The Maori called the North Island of New Zealand, Te Ika-a-Maui, the fish of Maui, and the South Island, Te Wai Pounamu, jade waters, or Te Waka-a-Maui The waka of Maui Maori is a language of the Malayo-Polynesian languages, which is part of the Austronesian language family Abel Tasman, Dutch explorer, in 1642 was the first European to land on these islands She became a British colony in 1841 Governor George Grey, from 1845 to 1868, was one of the first settlers to learning Maori and he wrote down what was left of Maori mythology, after the intervention of European missionaries and sailors … New Zealand became a dominion in 1907 and became independent in 1947

Maori mythology

This mythology, it appears that they are inhabitants of heaven, who before leaving the earth to leave, have made men The reason for leaving: great damage due to storms, floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc. … The gods would live forever in heaven The thunder and lightning are caused by their activity in the sky: walking, fighting, etc. … Tribal gods remained on earth are constantly at war with the causes, food, land and women But they are always united against a common enemy … In the legend of Rata, a boat sailed 140 warriors … In that of the assassination of Tuwhakararo, the military expedition of revenge included canoes miles or 140,000 warriors … The canoes were moving on the water, but circulated both in heaven and in the kingdom of darkness … Their terrible weapon was a sword of feathers or whalebone, but also an ax feather … When the ancestors left Hawaiki for New Zealand, they did aboard seven canoes named Arawa, Tainui, Matatua, Taki-Tumu, Kura-hau-po, Tokomaru and Matawhaorua These are the names of the seven original tribes of the Maori of New Zealand Note that these are not as canoes in the punitive expedition into the sky, but canoes … The boat and the crew consisted of warriors, but also a cargo, and there have even added last-minute passengers: women and priests … Life on board included a kitchen where the women were dining and a large hall for meetings priestly and warrior … The canoes had canoes (140 warriors), as lifeboats … The dugout canoe exploration sent to New Zealand took 140 warriors … The men of this expedition were giants: Tama-te-kapua which was nine feet high, is 2m70, and Rua who was eleven feet high, or 3m30 In fact mythology collected by Sir George Grey, is rather sketchy regarding cosmology and technology, but said most disputes over land and women of seven tribal leaders, once they arrive in New Zealand

The megaliths of New Zealand

New Zealand is a land of megaliths, and there are many standing stones, circles, cromlechs, alignments, megalithic walls, and even giant balls as in Costa Rica These places are often doubly taboo: They are considered taboo by the Maori who see them as sacred places They are prohibited by the white missionaries as works considered pagan and evil … The missionaries were successful for a long time to prevent access to these places and it is only recently that archaeologists who wish, can obtain excavation permits … But they are very requested and granted very few … By cons it seems that there is no difficulty in obtaining a building permit in megalithic zone … I was lucky enough to help me in my research and some photos, you can use the work of Mr Martin Doutre, he has recorded on its site, Ancient Celtic New Zealand: http://www.celticnz . /, and I urge you to visit

Ruapuke Pa

Large menhir located on a Maori pa, a fort atop a hill, near Raglan, on the west coast in the North Island Maori legend says that if the wind is whistling the menhir is a storm coming …

At Raglan, there are many standing stones, alignments, petroglyphs and stone circles in circles

Puketapu Hill

It is a hill with a circle of standing stones, cromlechs type, atop a hill Tapu means sacred in Maori and access to the hill is prohibited

Silverdale boulders

This place has several balls of stone, like those of Central America, with a diameter of over 4 meters … Unfortunately they are seriously threatened by the real estate pressure … Most of those who have not been destroyed, have been displaced The official theory is that this is a natural production: a stone rolled from the top of the mountain and is agglomerated with other pieces of stone, as would a snowball to form after a number of years a stone ball 4 meters in diameter … No comment …

Silverdale spirals

Some large stones covered with petroglyphs, some signs are large spirals

Tongaporutu Taranaki

In Taranaki there are three huge standing stones, barely submerged and covered with petroglyphs The Maori give these petroglyphs, according to oral tradition, thousands of years, back when their name was not Maori but maeroa …

Bombay hill

Another large menhir stone balls and a few giant

Moheau mountain

A magnificent collection of menhirs menhir with a triple one

Mount William Puketutu

Here there are many rows of menhirs

Tor mound Maunganui Bluff

Another circle stone circle

Ogham obelisk

Large standing stones, petroglyphs and a large menhir set, called the obelisk, with several engravings in sign of V They are dated before 3500 J.C.

Bastion Point

A double menhir which is granted under a Solstice with the neighboring mountain

Bastion rock

A strange shaped rock truncated pyramid at the entrance to the bay … It was demolished to make rocks to build roads … Here we see again a desire to erase previous civilizations This is probably the influence of European religions …

Orakei circle

Cromlechs and menhirs double Coates Avenue and Kepa Road intersection above the Orakei Bay

Papakura red hill

Cromlech in a circle composed of massive standing stones more than 2 meters high

At Tapau, petroglyphs were inscribed in stone up to 2 meters below the water level Archaeologists have given their 600 years, then admitted 700, then they are granted: may be 1000 years … Archaeological evidence has accumulated since to be between – 2000 and – 2600, BC …

Lake Taupo

Around Lake Taupo, there are megalithic walls and huge menhirs and alignments and stone circles in circles and beautiful petroglyphs

363879taupo murs
One of the walls, the Kaimanawa, is made of cubic stones 1m60 high and 1m wide, or blocks of 4 tons, in the middle of the forest …

Moir’s Hill Boulder

Even giant balls …

Koru Pa

A large set of megalithic walls almost 5 feet high, alignments and stone circles in circles …

Waitapu valley

In the valley of Waitapu, there are standing stones, megalithic walls, alignments and cromlechs

The Maori

Officially the Maori are the original inhabitants of New Zealand, arrived from Polynesia in successive waves since 1100, then finally admitted since 800 AD until 1300 Before, there was nothing … This is true, in part … They are truly Polynesian population saturation in their islands, who came in rickety boats, sailing raft style, in successive waves But certainly for much longer … Probably for nearly 4000 years! They are diluted more or less peacefully with the inhabitants of New Zealand, maeroa They have retained their original mythology that was identical, but as as from Polynesian populations increased, their languages and customs were modified slightly, and they became Maori

The maeroa

The maeroa are Tocharian Micronesia who left and moved to Hawaii They soon realized that they were redundant So they came back in Micronesia They then found that the Melanesia and Polynesia were already occupied by their countrymen It only remained for them than the southern islands, New Zealand … It happened there over 5000 years! And found good in their mythology, now absorbed by the Maori, their technologies: Warriors 140 canoes, canoe style boat, air travel, effective weapons: sword and laser axes, etc. … They have therefore installed their culture Tokharian: megaliths and petroglyphs … Everything today was not destroyed, it should not be a problem for archaeologists to check … Just be willing to do …

  1. psilovibe says:

stones at taupo were made by an artist collective in the seventies round ball stones are natural all over nz most of what you show probably doesnt pre date maori they made stone walls eg hen and chick islands but what you should look at is two things first rc dating which only shows up things over 1 thousand years old only dates cave art at older and even thennot by much maori didnt start this practice secondly read the book 1421 the year china discovered the world chinese coming after maori settlement account for alot of the stones they also always built pyridimal watch towers over 100ft high

you are exactly figuring the typical nz people refusing history and saying before discovery of islands by white exporers nothing did exist … sorry but if it seems taupo is modern artist job , that didnt show how it was before … and lot of standing stones prove evidently ancient peoples work
